***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** about challenge three: Medieval Heraldry!

Yesterday, History Club members designed and created their own medieval heraldy. Lots of fun was had choosing designs, colours, emblems, names, and mottos (which were then translated into Latin) to make a unique ´Coat of Arms´ for every History Club member!

After much thought, it has been decided that this challenge is not yet over. After the May holiday this challenge will continue. Check the blog next week for more information!

History Club Challenge one: Catapults!

Hi History Clubbers,

Tuesday 9th April 3.25 - 4.25 in C4 there will be the first meeting proper of the History Club!

If you are a new member then make sure that you come along and get signed up!

There will be no preparation needed for this challenge.

Challenge one will be on medieval seige catapults, and your challenge will be to build your own working catapult! You will be working in teams and full instructions and equipment will be provided...

Well done to Maurice and Gabriel for their winning design. It was bright, engaging and informative, and was voted the best design by the experts.

The poster has had some modifications made by experts in media and design to give it maximum impact, and has been printed and displayed around the school.
